Ancient symbols, dream imagery and life experience are infused into Angie’s art of all media, especially paintings, drawings and multi-media. She works with acrylics enhanced with inks and distinct brush strokes to suggest movement. Charcoal, pastels, collage, watercolor, and graphite also find their way into many pieces as complements or featured media.
The Tree of Life, with it’s roots sinking deep into to Divine Feminine Gaia and reaching up to Divine Masculine Cosmic, is the underlying source Angie turns to. She has chosen to use the Tree of Life imagery as her identifying stamp and signature on all her work since 2012, including ceramics and paintings.
Meditating on the vibrational frequencies of color and sacred geometries of mandalas, she creates works she hopes brings healing and blessings to herself, you and the planet.
Before awakening to the need to make artwork a priority, her paintings fit the "Seeking Collection" theme: seeking a connection not just to love but to artistic passion, the artwork created during this period of the artist's life expresses longing and an absence. Included are "Her Incipence" and a 1993 self portrait.

Each form Angie creates shifts from the generic to convey a sense of the organic. Her Shell-Footed Dining Ware twists the norm further, bringing the sea to the mountains - unifying the masculine and feminine. Her mugs, dinner and dessert plates, pasta and cereal bowls and more, are created with individually crafted shell-impressed molds using clay slabs, thrown segments and coils to hand-build each piece.
Harnessing the power and beauty of crystals, gems and natural objects, Angie melds her ceramic forms with them to create Prayer Pyxia (Greek boxes or jars for women’s sacred objects), pet urns, sculptural forms designed to hold special crystals.
